Condesa is a neighborhood considered to be one of the most trendy, especially among young executives, artists, students and others. Because of its characteristics, it has been compares to Soho in New York, and the Latin Quarter in Paris. Its avenues are wide and lined with trees. It is, mostly, a residential neighborhood, but there is plenty of restaurants, cafés, boutiques and art galleries.

The design of a roof garden on a 60's house, located next to two of the most emblematic avenues of Condesa, came from the idea of building a staircase covered by a tempered glass dome to allow the light into the house and, at the same time, communicate the house with the roof garden.
