In the capital of the state of Chiapas, MMATT Arquitectos designed a sports and recreation space. With a well-established program, the project respects the topography of the site, as well as certain basic characteristics of an open space such as solar orientation and views for users and passers-by.
The different heights well marked by the terrain were respected and highlighted when the slopes were generated. This was done to prioritize the spaces so that the park had well-differentiated areas for the different users who frequent it. For example, an area for children in the central part for security and surveillance issues; and a gym and skate area at the ends of the park.
MMATT thought and designed every aspect to offer a comfortable and safe space, with the floor treatments indicated for the development of each activity; as well as the landscaping project indicated for the characteristics of the site and flora of Tuxtla. The project took into account every last detail of furniture and structure for its correct execution in the short and long term.
