Villa Park is a settlement located in DuPage County, Illinois, United States. Its origin was due to the establishment of the Ovaltine factory in this area, since they needed their employees to live in a nearby place so that they did not have to deal with the climatic conditions of the region.

The project we worked on in the suburbs of Villa Park was a house divided into three levels: basement, ground floor and first level. Our proposal was an open space in the common areas on the ground floor; an office/guest room in the basement; and two bedrooms with a shared bathroom on the upper floor. We wanted the interiors to have a contemporary design, respecting the facades so as not to break the scheme of the neighborhood.
