Andalusia 12 – 15 November 2018
Extenda (Andalusian Foreign Promotion Agency) invited us to participate in the International Contract Meeting, based at the Valentín de Madariaga y Oya Foundation in Seville. Companies from the United States, Brazil, Panama and Costa Rica, in addition to four Mexicans, participated in this event: BGP ARQUITECTURA Mr. Bernardo Gómez-Pimienta; SPACE Mrs. Shantal Bravo; MMATT Architects Ms. Victoria Nanni; AMASS& Mr. Rubén Rendón. Here, several companies meet to meet Andalusian companies in the construction, equipment services, design, architecture and hotel sectors. And, in the days that followed, we visited the Torre Sevilla, the tallest building in Andalusia with 40 floors, and the CaixaForum, an exhibition center so that company representatives could give us a tour of its facilities.

At night they presented us with a show of flamenco dance and Sevillian music. Then we moved to Granada to visit the exquisite Granada de Alhambra, to later finish at the Faculty of Health Sciences. We also visited the La Alpujareña Carpets workshop, where we learned about the artisanal and, to a different extent, mechanical manufacturing process of ALP CARPETS rugs. And, finally, we visited the Hotel Amáre Marbella to see the elaborate furniture.

This event was full of talks and tours, in addition to Andalusian companies living with people from different countries for the same purpose: architecture.
