Design and construction of an apartment from the 60s, using contemporary and avant-garde materials, in one of the neighborhoods that is currently in fashion and in renovation of many of its urban spaces.
The Napoles neighborhood and its public spaces include the World Trade Center, a complex with offices, restaurants, movie theaters and shops; as well as the Polyforum Cultural Siqueiros, an artistic center decorated with an adjacent garden that has distinctive murals created by David Alfaro Siqueiros, one of the most representative Mexican muralists.
In this project, the main objective was to structurally modify the space of the apartment, eliminating some walls in order to open up the spaces and allow residents to freely use the integration of the common areas. Similarly, floor-to-ceiling luminaires were designed, made of laser-perforated metal plate, which use LED technology to recreate a bohemian atmosphere.
