01. ABOUT THE PROJECT

  • CONSTRUCTION: 2,400 M2
  • LOTS: 40
  • LOCATION: PUEBLA
  • ARCHITECTURE: MMATT ARCHITECTS
  • PROGRAM: REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT

This new subdivision located in the north of the state of Puebla, close to the Sierra Norte, arose as a result of one of the most frequent problems today, the high population density both in CDMX and in the city of Puebla itself, and the little space for housing development and coupled with the issue of the pandemic that we have suffered in recent years where the internal space of a current home does not exceed the minimum necessary for an adequate quality of life. That is why this location was chosen, which consists of all the spatial and geographical qualities for the optimal architectural design of a project of this type; which consists of 40 homes in total and with a duality of houses with both 2 levels and 1 that serves to meet the different characteristics of needs that each user requires.

The playful and dynamic volume of the house plays a role in its functionality and allows different assembly combinations of the unit. We take full advantage of the qualities of its simple materials, while providing different design possibilities. The project is a simple and powerful example of coordinated planning that integrates current knowledge of sustainable technology and construction processes.

We know that the needs are increasingly strict in the future and that is why we believe that this sustainability is a priority; That is why solar panels and large green areas are a basic to be able to reduce costs in the short term and constantly reintegrate rain loads.
